Does This Spooky Gettysburg Clip Really Show a Ghost or Just a Trick of the Eye?

Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, holds a significant place in American history as the location of the Civil War’s deadliest battle, where thousands of soldiers lost their lives. This tragic past has led many to believe the area is haunted.

The town is also remembered as the site where President Abraham Lincoln gave his iconic Gettysburg Address—a powerful speech delivered on November 19, 1863, honoring the soldiers who fought and died there. In it, Lincoln famously said:
“Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal…
The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here…
That this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom…”
Gettysburg was a turning point in the Civil War, marking Confederate General Robert E. Lee’s last major offensive into Union territory. The Union victory here is often seen as a key moment in preserving the United States.
For over 150 years, the battlefield—now a national park—has been surrounded by stories of paranormal activity. On September 2, 2022, Greg Yuelling from New Jersey claimed to have filmed what he believes could be a ghost while visiting the historic site.
Thanks to advances in technology, sightings like these are being captured more frequently, adding to the legend of Gettysburg’s ghostly reputation.
