Salman Khan Reveals Ongoing Battle with Serious Health Conditions, Including Brain Aneurysm and AV Malformation

In a startling admission, Bollywood megastar Salman Khan has opened up about facing multiple serious health challenges, including a brain aneurysm and arteriovenous malformation (AVM).

The 59-year-old actor shared these personal revelations during his appearance on Season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Show, where he was promoting the OTT release of his upcoming film Sikandar. Despite his health setbacks, Salman emphasized his dedication to work.

“I’m out here breaking bones every day ribs are fractured. I’m still going despite trigeminal neuralgia. There’s a brain aneurysm, yet I’m working. There’s an AV malformation as well, and I’m still carrying on,” he said. “This is everything I’m dealing with.”

A brain aneurysm is a bulging or ballooning of a blood vessel in the brain due to a weakened wall. These often go unnoticed unless they rupture, which can cause a potentially deadly type of brain bleed known as a hemorrhagic stroke.

AV malformation, or AVM, is a rare condition where blood vessels specifically arteries and veins become abnormally connected, typically in the brain or spinal cord. This tangled network bypasses the normal capillary system and can lead to various complications, including increased risk of rupture or neurological symptoms.
