Never Boil Your Corn Again – Make It Like This Instead!

We are huge corn on the cob fans and always try to take advantage of it when it is in season. However, we have never liked boiling it, as it doesn’t seem to have the same rich flavor we are looking for.

Luckily, we have discovered a game-changing alternative: cooking it in the slow cooker! All that is required is to put the corn and water in the slow cooker, and the corn will steam to perfection, retaining its natural sweetness and tender texture. The best part? It’s incredibly easy and requires minimal effort.

And now, when the corn is cooked, we can add all the wonderful toppings we love – generous butter pat, and sprinkle salt, with a few grinds of pepper on top – to make it all the more delicious and tantalizing for us to enjoy. The slow cooker way of cooking corn on the cob has become our favorite way, and we all look forward to enjoying it all throughout the seasons!

Ingredients

8-10 ears of corn

1/3 cup water

1 tablespoon lemon juice

unsalted butter, to taste

kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

fresh herbs or green onion, to taste
