Coldplay Fan Shares Earnings from Viral Kiss Cam TikTok That Garnered Nearly 125 Million Views

At a Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium on July 16, a spontaneous moment captured on video by fan Grace Springer quickly spiraled into a viral sensation. The now-infamous TikTok clip, which has amassed nearly 125 million views, shows Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR executive Kristin Cabot reacting awkwardly after being featured on the event’s kiss cam.
Both appeared visibly uncomfortable shifting away from each other and covering their faces prompting Coldplay frontman Chris Martin to quip from the stage, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy followed by Hope we didn’t do something wrong.”

Despite the video’s massive popularity, Springer revealed during an interview on the UK show This Morning that she hasn’t made a cent from it. “I’ve actually made no money from the video itself or the views. It’s not monetised she said.
Springer explained that she was originally filming just for fun, hoping to catch a memorable moment from the concert. It wasn’t until later, while reviewing the footage with friends, that she realized the implications of what she had captured. “There were over 50,000 people at the concert… it became a major talking point,” she said. When we looked at the clip afterward, I thought, ‘Yeah… it doesn’t look great.’”
The fallout from the clip was significant. Byron resigned from his role, and Cabot became the subject of an internal investigation. Both are reportedly married to other people. Springer expressed sympathy for those affected, particularly Byron’s wife, Megan. “I definitely feel for his family and everyone hurt by this,” she said, “but if I hadn’t posted it, someone else probably would have.
